Our CO-WIN Warriors work from home, activating their on ground community networks and mobilizing resource providers in order to connect the two and ensure that the vulnerable sections of society can also sustain themselves through these difficult times. Volunteers are spread across Delhi and Mumbai and steadily growing by the day.
(AIC) Atal Incubation Centre- Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini (RMP) Foundation has been set up in alignment with Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog to nurture, handhold and support New Age Entrepreneurs for New Age India. The focus is on job creation through entrepreneurship in the domains of Agriculture, Education & ICT. It also aims to create & support sustainable business models at grassroots level including social enterprises.
Around 70% of the poor in India are from rural areas where there is a lack of basic social and Infrastructural services, such as healthcare, roads, education and drinking water. Despite the presence of over 3,00,000 NGOs, India’s growth has primarily benefited its urban elite and middle class population who are engaged largely in the fast-growing services sector. Inclusive and sustainable growth needs to be achieved in order to reduce poverty and other social and economic disparities and to sustain economic growth. This is possible only by establishing a strong connection between rural and urban India for equitable and economic opportunities.
