Description – Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) is a scheme set up by the Government of India (GoI) through MUDRA (a subsidiary of SIDBI) that helps in facilitating micro credit upto Rs. 10 lakh to small business owners.

Shishu (Covering loans upto Rs. 50,000) –

  •       This stage would cater to entrepreneurs who are either in their primitive stage or require lesser funds in order to get their businesses started.
  •       With an objective to promote entrepreneurship among the new generation aspiring youth, it is ensured that more focus is given to Shishu Category Units.
  •       As a part of the economic stimulus package, viz., Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan, an “Interest Subvention Scheme for MUDRA Shishu loans was announced to provide Interest subvention of 2% for prompt payees for a period of 12 months. This will give relief of Rs 1500 crores to MUDRA-Shishu loanees.

Nature of assistance:

  •       Technology enabling
  •       Refinancing for micro units to commercial banks/ NBFCs/ RRBs/ SFBs/ MFIs
  •       Credit Guarantee for Mudra loan (through NCGTC)
  •       Development and promotional support (sectoral development, financial literacy, institution development).

Who can apply:

  •       Small manufacturing enterprise
  •       Shopkeepers
  •       Fruit and Vegetable vendors
  •       Artisans
  •       ‘Activities allied to agriculture’, e.g. pisciculture, bee keeping, poultry, livestock, rearing, grading, sorting, aggregation agro industries, dairy, fishery, agriclinics and agribusiness centres, food & agro-processing, etc. (excluding crop loans, land improvement such as canal, irrigation and wells).

વર્ણન: નાના ધંધાર્થીઓને ૧૦ લાખ સુધીની આર્થિક સહાય કરવા માટે ભારત સરકારે પ્રધાન મંત્રી મુદ્રા યોજના જાહેર કરી છે. આ યોજના અંતર્ગત માઈક્રો ક્રેડીટવાળા વ્યવસાયોને આર્થિક મદદ મળી શકે છે.

શિશુ (રૂપિયા ૫૦, ૦૦૦ સુધીની લોન)

  • વ્યવસાયના શરૂઆતના તબક્કામાં જે વેપારીઓને વ્યવસાય શરુ કરવા અથવા પ્રસ્થાપિત કરવા નાણાકીય મદદની જરૂર હોઈ તેમને લાભ થઇ શકે છે.
  • દેશના યુવાઓમાં ઔદ્યોગિક સાહસને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા આ તબક્કામાં યુવાનો જેમને પોતાનો વ્યવસાય શરુ કરવો છે તેમને મદદ થઇ શકે.
  • આ લોનમાં આત્મનિર્ભર ભારત યોજના અંતર્ગત વાર્ષિક લોનની ભરપાઈ માં ૨% સુધીની રાહત મળી શકે છે. આમ કરવાથી દેશના MUDRA-શિશુ યોજનાથી વર્ષે દેશના યુવા ઉદ્યોગપતિઓને આ યોજના રૂપિયા ૧૫૦૦ કરોડની સહાય કરશે.

  • મુદ્રા લોન મારફતે ક્રેડીટ ગેરંટી મળશે
  • વ્યવસાયને શરુ કરવા અને તેનો વ્યાપ વધારવા પ્રાથમિક સહકાર મળશે
